Frank,
I have been busy and have not read anyone's blog for about 3 months. I wonder if you have read the new (2010) biography of Bonhoeffer by Eric Metaxas. Great book. I actually downloaded a copy to my iPod and listened to it; great speaker for all the German names and place names.

Hi Leland.
I've seen the Metaxas book but haven't gotten a copy yet. He was on CSPAN-2 the other day, talking about the book. I saw the whole thing. It was a really good presentation with Q&A.
I DID buy a copy, last year, of the new Bonhoeffer bio by Schlingensiepen. It looks to be really good, but I haven't read it yet either.
Last year, I was mostly reading about J. Wyclif and the Lollards, about the Holocaust and about the Cold War. Too many subjects. Not enough time. You know.
